Two months back I got the same dream. I was sleeping in my bedroom and I hear a clear sound of my door bell ringing. I even get irritated and yell to my siblings, why isn’t anyone opening the door. I woke up this morning at 3am by the sound of my doorbell ring, I sleep 3 feet from my door, so I got up fast and checked through my window next to my door, noone was there, and even more it had snowed that night and I saw no foot step tracks in the snow !
This afternoon around 3pm 3/10/21 i heard only one chime of what sounded like my 2 chime doorbell right next to my ear. I had been feel a little eerie and was fighting sleep and it felt like right as I was dozing of I jumped awake by that chime right next to me.

Glad to know that it’s not just me! This has happened to me at least 5 times and it always scares the crap out of me. I always go to the top of the stairs (right outside my bedroom door) to look at the side windows at the door to make sure that no one was at the door (we leave our porch light on at night).

Same! Here I am up at 447 because I was in a dream heading the doorbell ring over and over and then heard someone knocking and jiggling at the door trying to get in. And then I *swear* there was a VERY loud THUD that actually woke me up from my dream, but neither my dog (who is very alert) or my fiancé woke up/reacted, so I know it must have been part of the dream.
